Over 1,000 musical works now available to download
The Gwynn Publishing Company was established in 1937 by W S Gwynn Williams. Today, the company’s catalogue includes over 1,000 musical works – for choirs of all kinds, solos, duets, instrumental works, etc. These pieces represent over 80 years of composing and publishing, and many of them have become an established part of the musical repertoire in Wales and much further afield. Composers such as William Mathias, Dilys Elwyn-Edwards, Meirion Williams, Gareth Glyn, Brian Hughes and Pwyll ap Sion feature prominently in the catalogue, in addition to many of the great European classical composers.
For the first time, almost all of these works can now be downloaded, as PDF files.
The exceptions are books, collections and large-scale works. These can be ordered and despatched by post. Similarly, ‘hard’ copies of all individual pieces can be ordered and despatched by post if preferred.
